Clean, well equipped. Has a smart toilet, which is rare to see in lower budget accommodations in Korea. Nice lounge area.

Vincent is a very good host, always ready to help. The location is also very good since you have a bus stop on the corner and a convenience store just downstairs where you can charge your bus card. The library is really nice and normally we should have had our breakfast inside but unfortunately Vincent got injured and couldn’t prepare us the breakfast. Our room has Air Conditioning which we loved considering Jeju high temperatures. The accommodations was really well equipped with hygiene products, toals, and even hairdryers!

The hosts were amazing- welcoming and helpful. Make a great breakfast, highball, ginger & lemon tea and evening meal - coffee too. The Book cafe is a wonderful space to relax in. It was a great start to 5 days touring Jeju.

I had a great time at this accommodation, Vincent was very welcoming and helpful! Both room and bathroom were incredibly clean, the bed was comfortable and there was also a heating pad in case you get cold at night. The guesthouse is not centrally located, but it offers easy access to all parts of Jeju with public transportation. There is a convenience store right next to the house and there is a delicious 24h restaurant offering bean soup 5 minutes walking, so regardless of your arrival time, you will be able to have a good meal. The WiFi connection was strong and fast.

- location super covenient with major bus stop just 4min walking distance from the hostel - kitchen/fridge/freezer to use and store items - feels very homey and gives family vibes as the rooms are all in an apartment - shoes have to be taken off at the entrace, which helps keep the inside clean - fresh towels always available, as well as hair dryer, soap. Body wash and shampoo also provided in the shower - privacy curtains on each bunk - hangers and rack in the dorm rooms help hang up coats and limit the chaos - the matresses are rock hard. I loved that but for some this might be uncomfortable

Vincent and his wife are taking care of this place properly, I initially stayed one week then extended to one more month. Bathrooms and common places are cleaned every day, there’s a common place for socialization, is slightly away from center but you can take a bus to everywhere, there’s a kitchen and close by grocery store (aside from conbinis). There’s a nearby coin laundry as well. I’m glad I stayed and hope to come back . Thanks!

Great location: It's easy to reach all the main places you want to see. There's a bus stop and a 7-Eleven nearby, which is super handy. Cool bar and restaurant: The guesthouse has its own bar and restaurant. The prices are good, and it's a nice place to relax after a day out. Cheap breakfast: You can get a simple breakfast for just 5,000 won (about $3–4). It's a good deal to start your day. Fancy toilets: They have those high-tech Japanese toilets. It's a fun and unique touch that made me smile.

very kind host who is very welcoming to everybody and was helpful all the time with great tips about Jeju. There was a bus stop close by that had almost all major bus lines - a direct line to the airport and bus terminal, two convenience stores directly next door and a close by washing salon. The 4 bed room I was in was very spacious so we had enough space for all our luggage even when all beds were booked.

Our stay at Ganderak Guesthouse made our visit to Jeju Island so special. Vincent and his wife were super kind and welcoming and were always around to help. They run a cosy, dreamy book cafe on site and it is one of the nicest spots for a drink or a coffee, a hidden gem on Jeju! The accommodation itself was comfy and felt very homely. All the rooms were clean and the facilities were in good condition. The shared bathroom had a great shower with hot water and good water pressure. Fridge space available in the cute kitchen area to keep any food or drinks. Breakfast in the cafe was delicious with fresh fruit, toast and homemade jam and egg and bacon and juice or coffee. Location is also perfect for exploring the island as we visited Seogwipo and hiked Mount Hallasan and was able to get buses to and from the Gwaneumsa and Seongpanak trails. Bus stop is close by and there are two convenience stores right next door to the guesthouse. Even better, we arrived at night and it wasn’t until morning that we realized that we were on a street lined with beautiful cherry blossoms! Very lucky to have arrived in time for the blossoming season. I felt very taken care of at Ganderak Guesthouse and enjoyed everything about this place. I miss it already and wish I could have stayed longer!

Beautiful place, the cafe library has an awesome vibe. The manager is very kind and thourough in explaining everything about the place. The dorms are located in individual appartments with kitchen and 2 bathrooms, for each men and women. The rooms are warm, and the place very clean and tidy. There's a convenient store next to the place.
